The legal system in Próspera has the following components:

• Law inherited from Honduras:
  • The Honduran Penal Code.
  • All treaties to which Honduras is a party.
• Law set up by Próspera (full text here), which include but are not limited to:
  • A common-law code sometimes referred to as the Roatán Common Law Code.
  • Statutory regulations covering, among other things:
    • Specific Regulated Industries
    • Dangerous Activities
